Arthur Galamba tiene un doctorado en Educación de la Universidad de Leeds, una Maestría en Psicología Cognitiva y un pregrado en Física. Enseñó física en escuelas secundarias en Brasil y en el Reino Unido durante más de 13 años y actualmente es capacitador de docentes en Londres. Arthur está fascinado por cómo las prácticas de enseñanza actuales son influenciadas por programas que han sido prominentes en los últimos 150 años. Sus intereses de investigación actuales son: educación científica para la democracia, descolonización de la ciencia, desarrollo inicial de maestros internacionales y la epistemología de la ciencia.

Arthur Galamba holds a PhD in Education from the University of Leeds, an MSc in Cognitive Psychology, and an undergraduate degree in Physics. He has taught physics at secondary level in Brazil and the UK for over 13 years and is currently engaged in the training of teachers in London. Arthur is intrigued by the manner in which contemporary pedagogical approaches are shaped by programmes that have been prevalent over the past 150 years. His current research interests include science education for democracy, decolonisation of science, international initial teacher development, and the epistemology of science.

Arthur Galamba tem um doutoramento em Educação pela Universidade de Leeds, um mestrado em Psicologia Cognitiva e uma licenciatura em Física. Ensinou física em escolas secundárias no Brasil e no Reino Unido durante mais de 13 anos e é atualmente formador de professores em Londres. Arthur é fascinado pela forma como as práticas de ensino actuais são influenciadas por programas que têm sido proeminentes nos últimos 150 anos. Os seus actuais interesses de investigação são: educação científica para a democracia, descolonização da ciência, formação inicial de professores a nível internacional e epistemologia da ciência.
