Ya no hay tiempo para los lamentos, el viejo periodismo escrito de largas crónicas y extensos reportajes perdió su público y declaró caduco su soporte, el papel. Pero no sólo eso, el oficio mismo, la propia profesión ha sucumbido devastada por los poderosos, por los pusilánimes, por los cínicos, así al menos lo teme Umberto Eco en su última novela Número cero, que regala una feroz mirada del estado del campo periodístico en los últimos años, un escenario denunciado como miserable por el influjo de poder y ambición que echó raíces sobre él, un campo devastado por la manipulación de la imperfecta democracia alguna vez vivida y ahora transmutada en farsa constantemente padecida.How to Cite
