En el debate que se da en México acerca de la presencia y las acciones del narcotráfico en el país azteca se dice que “México se está colombianizando,” en tanto allí como en Colombia es evidente la maquinaria de muerte que han desplegado los narcotraficantes para atacar a quienes se oponen a sus acciones ilegales o para combatir a sus rivales. Pero no sólo ha sido en el amplio espectro de la violencia donde se presentan semejanzas; en México como en Colombia se han realizado tareas, a veces muy sofisticadas, para penetrar las instituciones y permear diversos sectores de la sociedad. En ese propósito no han escapado ni las instituciones religiosas.How to Cite
